Xbox Games Pass now includes Minecraft PC bundle

The world-famous sandbox survival game will be released to Xbox Game Pass PC owners on November 2 (or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate). And that's not all: most PCs contain both the popular Java program and the Bedrock gaming system for you to play, giving you many ways to personalize and do things with your friends. But what is the difference between Java and Bedrock and why? What do they mean to you? And does this mean that you will be able to play all the new and upcoming Minecraft updates? Let's dig a hole and find out.

While the Minecraft Bedrock program has been available on Xbox Game Pass for a long time now, we were unable to access the game's PC versions, including the PC-special Java version.

That all changes from November 2, to the completion of the (current) Minecraft program. Now all Minecraft games, including Dungeons, are available to all Xbox Game Pass Windows 10 and 11 subscribers. Minecraft Bedrock edition Minecraft Marketplace is a unique Bedrock system and is an in-game store where you can buy maps, texture packs and skins made by content creators around the world. Since these are highly paid items, you can support the wider Minecraft community by purchasing these add-ons. Minecraft Bedrock edition is a game consoles version and can be played on Windows 10 and 11 PCs (also known as Windows 10 edition).

This kind of thing happens when Microsoft combines the Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation game versions into one. Over the years, some items have been added to Bedrock at a different time, even by different mechanics, in Java. This means you can get away with a little conflict with game play as you play between the two of you. Minecraft Java edition is the only PC version of the game. Although Bedrock can also be played on PC, there are still a few minor differences between Java and Bedrock, which include a fighting system, some art recipes and other game equipment. Although you will not be able to access the Marketplace in Java version, you can download texture cookies and maps from reputable Minecraft content creators. However, this poses a greater risk than the Marketplace, and does not support creators in the same way as the Market. Make sure you trust the source before downloading anything from Minecraft.

However, keep in mind that most trusted Marketplace creators start this way, so you may find the next generation of Minecraft map creators! The Java edition is not compatible, but you can play with hundreds of other miners and professionals on a dedicated server. You can start a small server with your closest friends, called Realm, and it is available for in-game purchases, or join a large, global community of Minecraft players on one of the many Minecraft servers available. Access everything from the Minecraft Launcher With Lots of PC, you will be able to access both Minecraft Bedrock and Java programs, as well as Minecraft Dungeons, from a single all-inclusive launcher. This means that it is easy to get in and out of each version as you play.

Minecraft Cross-play Due to the different development, Bedrock and Java are completely separate entities so playing in the cross is not possible between them. And they don’t always have the same content at the same time, but the balance between the two games is now one of the priorities for Mojang Studios, with the latest and upcoming updates happening together.

Cross-play is possible, however, at various Bedrock playgrounds. For example, you can play Bedrock edition on your Windows PC while your friend plays with you on the PlayStation, Xbox or Switch. To play with your friends, you will need to purchase Realm. Minecraft receives a major new update every year, and Caves and Cliffs part 2 and Wild updates are both coming in the next 12 months. Both are very exciting - and game modifications - Minecraft updates as we can. Both Java and Bedrock programs will receive updates at the same time, so you'll be able to access all the new features as soon as they arrive, whichever version of the game you find playing the most!
