 14 AWESOME FACTS ABOUT FROGS!

I got a super good idea for today what about we today learn about frogs yeah then let's go

1. Frogs live all over the world, on every continent, except Antarctica.

There are more than 6,000 species. These land-and-water animals are known for their rumbling sounds, jumping skills, bright eyes, and thin skin. They live in quiet or surrounding or slow-moving waters such as lakes, swamps, streams, lakes or rivers.

2.  group of frogs is called an army. Maybe it's because they're wearing a green military mask!

3. Not all frogs are green. There are shiny, colorful varieties in all the colors of the rainbow. Red, blue, orange, yellow, and purple. Some have different colors, patterns, spots, or stripes. The color of the frog helps it survive by mixing with the environment or warning predators that it is dangerous. Their eyes vary in color and pattern, too. Most of the bright, colorful species are found in the tropics.

4. The squinting eyes allow him to see the front, sides, and back slightly. The shape of the eyes on their head gives them a nearly 180 degree angle of vision. High night vision allows these nocturnal creatures to hunt prey easily in the dark without moving.

5. The frog cannot keep its eyes open when it eats. That's because they need them when they eat prey. According to the American Museum of Natural History, “when the frog swallows food, it attracts its attention to the roof of its mouth. The eyes help to push food down the throat. ”

6. Bullfrog calls can be heard miles away! If you are near a lake, lake, or other freshwater source, listen to a different call for “brrr-ummmm” or “jug-o-rum”.

7. Each species of Frogs has its own unique wire. Male fraud during mating to attract females. The more she cries, the more likely she is to attract a mate.

8. They have teeth! The small teeth on the roof of their mouths are rarely used for biting or chewing; they keep the frog's food from escaping before it has a chance to swallow it. However, if the frog feels threatened, or gives the frog an animal by hand, some species are known to bite.

9. Frogs do not drink water. These aquatic creatures absorb water through their skin.

10. Not all frogs can jump. While many species of long legs can jump more than 20 times their body length, those with short legs at the back can jump, crawl, or walk

11. South Africa's sharp-horned frog holds the world record for the longest jump. It jumps 44 times its body length. This three-inch-long [3 cm] species is over an inch [130 cm] long. To illustrate, a person 15 feet [5 m] tall would have to jump 220 feet [220 m] in one jump.

12. The smallest frog in the world is Paedophryne amanuensis. It is about the size of a common housefly. It lives in leaf litter in the rain forests of Papua New Guinea.

13. The largest and largest frog on earth is aptly named Goliath (see below). It grows to 12.5 inches in height and weighs 7.1 kg. It is found in the rain forests of Africa. They come out at night and eat fish, crabs, baby tortoises, young snakes, and other invertebrates along the riverbank. Its life span in the wild can be up to 15 years.

14. A poisonous gold frog, native to the rain forests of Central and South America, differs from the world's most venomous animal, although it is almost a piece of paper. Its skin releases enough toxins to kill ten people. Many species of toxic frogs are colored; Strong color warns predators to stay upright. Unlike most species, poisonous frogs work during the day.
