When will be the frogs realesed in Minecraft?

Frogs are new mobs that will soon be added to Minecraft. The goofy mobs was announced at the 2021 Minecraft Live event. As the developers talked about the new release of Caves and Cliffs part 2, they also gave us an idea of ​​what’s coming with Minecraft.

With the Caves and Cliffs update completed, Mojang has brought the biggest update of Minecraft yet. They are now working on their next update which will go down in 2022. With all of this, players may be eager to know when they will be able to see and interact with the frogs in Minecraft.

At the 2021 Minecraft Live event, Mojang announced that they would be releasing another update after a major Caves and Cliffs update. This update is called 'The Wild Update' which will add a ton of new features. Frogs will come to Minecraft at The Wild Update in 2022.

This update will completely redefine the swamp biome, add frogs, tadpoles and fireflies to them. The new Mangrove Swamp biome will be introduced with new trees and blocks. This update will also include Warden as a hostile mob and the Deep Dark biome which should have been removed from the Caves and Cliffs update but pushed forward to the next update.

Frogs and tadpoles were added to the game in the beta version 1.18.10.24 of Bedrock Edition to test them and play the game. The final version of the mob will be released in 2022 with The Wild Update.

Frogs are passive mobs that can be found in Swamp Biomes. Frogs will have different colors depending on the biome temperature and location. They can croak and swell up from time to time, and can jump four blocks high.

They eat fireflies and slime and then drop slimeballs. Players can breed frogs with the help of seagrass. After breeding, frogs will lay eggs in water that will turn into tadpoles and grow into frogs.
