5 best tips to survive in caves in Minecraft 1.18
With the release of Minecraft 1.18 finally out, a bunch of players will be jumping into the game to get all the new features and extras. Mojang said this is their biggest update right now, introducing major changes in the Minecraft world.
As the name suggests, the Caves and Cliffs revival brings a new kind of cave generation to Minecraft. Update Minecraft 1.18 introduces two new cave biomes called Lush Caves and Dripstone Caves. While players will be eager to explore new caves, there are a few things to keep in mind before entering the deep, dark and dangerous caves in Minecraft.
With new caves, players will need to keep certain things in mind before entering it. Here are 5 best Cave Survival Tips for Minecraft 1.18 update.
1) Do not forget to keep the sheild
The shield is an important item that you should keep in mind when entering the caves. As the caves get bigger in the upgrade of Minecraft 1.18, it will be full of hostile crowds. Fighting in large numbers without a shield can be extremely dangerous and players can be killed faster than they think.
2) Keep backup blocks
Players may think of cobblestone, diorite, dirt blocks etc. they are useless and discarded, but this can be very helpful when crossing caves.
First, players can cross a bridge in a lava pool or a cave with these blocks. They can use blocks to keep themselves away from crowds and even make room in the cave to take a break.
3) Good weapons and armor
Fighting one hostile crowd can be easy, but what if the players are attacked by a host of creepers, skeletons and Zombies, all of whom attack at the same time? In situations like these, having powerful weapons and magical weapons can do wonders. The stronger the weapons and armor, the better the chance of surviving the caves in the upgrade of Minecraft 1.18.
4) A bucket of water
With new regeneration, the caves become so large that they can reach the top, and create huge gullies. Therefore, the chances of accidentally falling into a deep cave are very high.
Because of this, a bucket of water can save players as they can store water before a fall to avoid injury. They may also have magic feathers to reduce the damage of the fall.
5) Light everything up
With the update of Minecraft 1.18, the lighting system will change. No hostile crowds will be able to breed if the block light level is above 0. Therefore, light caves have become easier.
But keep in mind that the caves are huge too. Therefore, players must keep a sufficient number of flashlights to light up each block when the whole cave is exposed to hostile crowds.
