3 CREATURES WITH MORE THAN ONE HEART||THE APPU WORLD

 The existence of a single heart is rooted in our biology mindset thanks to our own bodies and most of those we see around us. But did you know that there are a few animals with many hearts?


1. octopus / squid


These same creatures both are cephalopods and have three hearts in total, one systematic compliance with two “gill hearts” that force blood on patients.


2. Earthworms


Although not actually a "heart", the palm aortic arch performs the same function and is often referred to as one for convenience. The earthworm has five separate nodes / hearts and pumps blood throughout the body.


3. Hagfish

Who knew that such a wicked creature could have so many hearts? The hagfish has four of them, one organized heart with three chambers and three accessory pumps
